Filming
The Fenyes Mansion was the first residence in the West San Gabriel Valley to encourage film production on its property. Eva Scott Fenyes welcomed film crews to her estate and took photos of the well-known actors and directors.

In 1912, D.W. Griffith became the first to use the property as a film location for his period costume drama When Kings Were the Law, starring Mabel Normand and Mae Marsh (retitled The Necklace). The property's film credits also include:
  • The Prestige (2006) -- Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale
  • The West Wing (2003, television series)
  • Newsies (1992) -- Christian Bale
  • The Mirror Crack'd (1981) -- Rock Hudson, Angela Lansbury, Kim Novak, Elizabeth Taylor
  • Being There (1979) - Peter Sellers
  • The Immigrants (1978, made for television)
  • Eleanor and Franklin: The White House Years (1977, made-for-television)
  • A Testimony of Two Men (1977, made for television)
  • The Girl Who Stayed at Home (1919) - Carol Dempster, Richard Barthelmess, Robert Harron and Syn de Conde
  • Western Blood (retitled Western Life, 1918) -- Tom Mix
  • Reggie Mixes In (1916) -- Douglas Fairbanks and Bessie Love
