Reciprocal Programs
Members of PMH receive exciting benefits to encourage the exploration of history and art. The two programs described below offer reciprocal access to other notable museums throughout California and across the U.S. and North America.
Time Travelers (formerly known as the Passport to California History)
Members at the Active level and above participate in Time Travelers. This program offers free or discounted admission, and other savings, at more than 200 museums and historical societies in the U.S., Canada, and Bermuda. California partners include:
- California Historical Society
- California Museum of History, Women, & the Arts
- Heritage Square Museum
- San Diego Historical Society
- Ventura County Museum of History & Art

North American Reciprocal Museums Program (NARM) (formerly known as the Golden Passport to Art)
Members at the Sponsor level and above participate in the Time Travelers program as well as NARM, which offers free admission and discounts on store purchases at nearly 600 art and culture institutions across the U.S, Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador, and Mexico. In California, participating NARM museums include:
- Bowers Museum
- Craft & Folk Art Museum
- Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA)
- Skirball Cultural Center
- Riverside Art Museum

If you choose to visit a participating NARM institution, please make sure that you have a "North American Reciprocal" sticker on the back of your membership card. If your most recent membership card does not have a NARM sticker on the back, please contact us at 626.577.1660, ext. 11 or membership@pasadenahistory.org and we will send you a new card with the sticker.
Member Appreciation Days (MADness) - Available to all Members
Twice a year (in May and November) for three days, PMH Members can enjoy free admission and a 20% store discount at local participating institutions. Details for the next MADness event will be listed on our Member Events page.
