Remarks

This spring-wound Victor Victrola was the first talking machine to employ the “new” internal horn, located behind the upper doors.  This same machine was in the White House during the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt.

The Fenyes family acquired hundreds of 78 rpm records featuring the most important opera stars and other classical musicians of the period.  Many of these records were stored in Victor Record Storage Albums, located behind the lower two doors of the Victrola.
