Remarks

Dr. Adalbert Fenyes is shown here in his “insectorium” in the gardens of the Fenyes Mansion.  In addition to being a practicing physician, Dr. Fenyes was also a renowned entomologist.   He traveled the world collecting beetle specimens.  Today this important beetle collection is housed at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
